Marie-Yaé Suematsu
Marie-Yaé Suematsu draws and paints on different media (ceramic, textile, paper...). These various techniques of image creation enable her to have a variety of approaches to the world around her and to enrich her drawings.
Xolo Cuintle
Carte Blanche by Xolo Cuintle - Sleep and His Half Brother Death (2022).
For La Parade‘s Carte Blanche, the duo Xolo Cuintle wandered around the Parisian cemeteries searching for dogs looking after their deceased ones in their everlasting homes. As a study, the series gives an understanding of this recurring figure in their work.
Joël Guenoun
Le Ouaouaseau, published by Actes Sud, is a book by Joël Guenoun. He lives in Paris, is a graphic designer from the Arts Décoratifs de Paris, and is the author of comics and short films. In Le Ouaouaseau, he casts a spell on our vision, through a magical bestiary of wonderful animals.
Liz Stirling
After working for many years as an art director and designer in the digital world, Liz took up painting again. Which rapidly and unexpectedly became a daily practice. She now works as an artist and designer for clients using illustration and many other materials to make decorative objects of all sorts. There are two centres of interest in her painting; simply the moment, the time to observe and paint what is before you and soulful ideas.
Hélène Blanc
In addition to her work as an art director and photographer (as part of the duo @antinomia.fr), Hélène has been drawing on themes that are dear to her for many years. The body and the upheavals that animate it are a never-ending subject of inspiration that she treats through graphic techniques that allow her to evoke the loss of control and emotions. She has recently been working on a series of animals suffering from powerful emotions and some strange hybrids.
SIAM
After having lived in the North of France between Boulogne sur mer and Roubaix, Siam settled in Paris where he currently lives and works. His visual work is based on his strolls through the landscapes of Northern France. For instance, the long stretches of deserted beaches of Boulogne sur Mer and the chaotic landscapes of the industrial era are part of the scenarios of his work.
