A weekly visual encounter with someone who elaborates on their relationship with animals.
Kestra & Balthazar
Originally from New Zealand, but living in London for over ten years, is Kestra. She studies Performance: Design and Practice at Central St Martins. Balthazar, the black cat that lives with her in her apartment in East London, also has a performance background.
Guillaume & his pets
After spending his childhood studying, observing and drawing animals, Guillaume became an art agent. Moving between their home in the Loir-et-Cher and Paris where they have a second home, Guillaume and his husband live with about thirty animals... all of them are very unusual.
Mathilde Tahar & Pippo
In the snow or in the rain, Pippo the border collie and Mathilde run together for miles. Meanwhile, Étincelle, the house cat, stays in the warmth of the bed, waiting for Mathilde's return. Everyone has their moment!
Alexandre Deshayes, Maurice & Helmut
Alexandre is an interior designer, Maurice has been as gentle as a lamb since he was one year old, and there is Helmut, also known as Bijou, who, despite the rumours, has never destroyed the sofa. After having his first dog, Jack, Alexandre knew exactly what he wanted to do with Maurice, a whippet, who loves children, walks in the forest and sleeps.
Lia & Rosie
Like Rosie, all the animals I was surrounded by as a child (cats, doves, Japanese fish, Siamese fighter fish and even mice) were considered family members, not pets. She is free to be where she wants to be and doesn't have to worry about others: when I observe her, I sometimes envy her nonchalance.
