Pascal lives with his partner, his three children, and TiPunch (named after the famous "vitamin drink"), an omnipresent parrot. Apart from the two cats, TiPunch has already bitten everyone in the house who tries to get hold of Pascal: the parrot refuses to share.

Sylvain, an engineer by training, grew up in the Alps, where he spent his childhood with animals that are very much part of our culture. However, Lily and Jim, his parrots from Gabon, remind him every day of the notions of otherness, of elsewhere and even of exoticism.
